Those who do not believe in it are hastening for it, while those who believed are fearful about it, and they know that indeed, it is the Truth. Behold! Indeed, those who are in doubt regarding the Last Hour are in far astray.
The believers lead a life here, seeing the Hereafter through one-third of the verses of the Lord’s Book, as explained in verse 1:3. They are concerned about the Recording Book fastened around their neck, which will be produced for them illuminated on the Day of Judgment, and their reckoning will be done by reading it individually, as explained in verses 17:13-14. The skins, ears, and sights of disbelievers will witness against them, as told in verses 41:19-24; hands will speak and legs will witness, as told in verse 36:65; and the earth will give its report, as told in verses 99:4-5. On the contrary, the aimless disbelievers do not believe in the Last Hour and the Hereafter, and consider their life as play and amusement. So they lead a life as if asking the believers: “When will the Last Hour you are promising come, if you are truthful?” as told in verse 10:48. If the believers see the Last Hour very near, the disbelievers see it very far, as told in verses 70:6-7. The Fujjar who do not testify to the Best Interpretation of the Lord’s Book will be summoned into Hellfire prone on their faces, and they are in the worst places and most astray, as explained in verses 25:33-34. See explanation 2:94-96; 34:19-20 and 41:53.
